About Me

I’m Andrew Hattaway. I’m a husband, father, Army veteran, former firefighter, and procurement professional. My family and I live here in the south metro, and I’m proud to be part of the communities that make up this area.

I’ve spent my career working, serving others, and taking on responsibility in different ways.  I served in the Army, worked in the fire service, and eventually moved into procurement and contract management. Today, my work involves negotiating contracts, solving problems, and managing resources.

Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my family and staying involved in the community. I enjoy meeting people, hearing stories, and learning more about the place we call home. 

I’m a straightforward person. I believe in working hard, treating people fairly, keeping your word, and taking responsibility for your decisions.

I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who has spent my life working, serving others, and raising a family. 

I decided to run for State House because I believe we need a different approach. We need leaders who will listen before they act, question spending, demand accountability, and remember who they work for.
